bald pig
sus scrofa
Habitat: They are native to Europe and Asia, but were widely introduced so they can be found in almost all types of vegetation.
Diet: They feed on plant material, particularly fruits, roots and plants.
Habits: They are animals that tend to be in groups. They develop complex social structures, and at three weeks of age they begin to interact with other members. It is during this time that pigs develop strong bonds with certain members of their population. They are active both during the day and at night.
It is interesting that… The pig compensates for its poor eyesight with an important development of smell and hearing which can capture sounds imperceptible to humans
