Green macaw

Habitat: It is found in tropical forests, arid zones, in pine and oak areas; moves seasonally into dense forested areas.


Diet: It feeds on dried fruits, seeds, berries, fruits and nuts. Sometimes it consumes clay to facilitate digestion.


Habits: It is a kind of diurnal and arboreal habits. They usually live in pairs, groups or in large flocks. It nests in tree cavities, crags or cliffs.
